Hi folks. I've been playing a year now in Caersws in Powys. We play at Clatter Village hall on a Friday night at 7.pm. All are welcome £3 for hire of drum and tea & biscuits. Drums supplied but please bring your own if you have one!

Originally from Jamaica, Rubba will be sharing his great knowledge of traditional African drumming and dance with us in this workshop. Dancers-come and learn traditional dances of our ancestors. Dundunkini Drum & Dance Jump-Up JAM
The afternoon will kick off with a warm-up, led by us. After this, the floor will be opened to all, and everyone who wants to, will be invited to dance and drum with us at another of our jubilant jams. Jam, Jam, Jam! If you are a beginner, we will teach you some moves, and some beats, ifyou have been doing this for a while, then teach us yours!!! This is anexchange and sharing of what we have, and EVERYONE is WELCOME! THIS IS DUNDUNKINI'S LAST EVENT FOR THE YEAR, so come out and party with us! Drumming For Beginners
A 10 week course suitable for beginners Thursdays 7.30 - 9pm Commencing 1st October, 2009 (or as soon as possible afterwards subject to sufficient numbers) At St Catherine's Church Hall, Kings Road, Pontcanna, Cardiff Using authentic West African drums you will learn some basic techniques and a few simple rhythms that are combined to produce a great sound. The emphasis will be on listening to each other and playing together as a group. Cost for 10 sessions: £65 Advanced booking & payment is essential as there is a limited number of drums available.
