Tribe of Doris Intercultural Summer School is back
10 - 15 August

A unique family friendly event with inspirational teachers from Africa, South America, Europe and Asia, bringing vibrant cultural exchange to a beautiful Devon site.

This year we have more workshops than ever with extra classes of djembe, drum for dance, sabar drum and dance and darbouka; more parties than ever with an expanded open mic stage and loads of outstanding performances from the likes of Nansady Keita, Denise Rowe, Nii Tagoe and more; plus a rare chance to take part in a lila with Gnawa musicans from Morocco and some groundbreaking explorations into the shared roots of Candomble, Santeria and Gnawa cultures

DRUMMING FOR FUN
I am a Gambian musician with many years teaching and performance experience. I am now pleased to offer a djembe drumming circle/class in CHISWICK on Monday evenings starting 26th April (inc Bank holidays) from 7.30pm until 9.00pm (with a short break) The classes will be held at St. Paul's Vicarage (green door) Grove Park Road, London W4 3SB
