Gaspard Zamble will be giving a 2 hour workshop in traditional dances from Ivory Coast at the beautiful Siobhan Davies studies, South London.
He will be accompanied by Henri Gao Bi and Odartey , masters of the art of drumming, so even if you do not want to dance, you may want to come just to listen to these two musicians together!

** Bank Holiday weekend 25- 27th August 2012.***

Frititi is leaving the big city and setting up (an indoor) camp, in the green, green fields of , Iet Goch, Wales. Once settled in, a weekend's training in dance, drum and song will commence. There will be discussions, debates, film and performances, as well several hours (per day) of the thorough and articulate teaching for which Frititi is renowned. Led by Master Drummer and Master Dancer, Nii Tagoe, this is an opportunity not to be missed for anyone who wishes to see their creativity move on to the next level. Nii's tuition will stir up the gift within you!

Norwich djembe and dundun classes at the Music Room, Avenue Junior School, Norwich NR2 3HP are now led by Steve Seekings. Steve has been a djembe & dundun drummer for more than 15 years, making numerous study trips to West Africa and learning from many of the best in the UK.
Cool and fun, these classes are on schoolday Wednesday evenings (n.b. not in the holidays or half-term breaks).
Beginners and improvers 6.45 to 8.15pm
Intermediate / advanced 8.25 to 9.45ish
Cost - £5
Some spare drums are available
