Hi there! If you're in Bagshot, would Farnham be a reasonable distance for you to travel? I give small group drumcircles. And even some latin percussion to boot if enough people want it.

Best

MAMADY KEITA WEEKEND 2005 is on its' way!

MAMADY KEITA WEEKEND 2005 is on its' way! The master drummer and teacher
extraordinaire is back in London for the second time 10 - 12 June 2005.

Some comments about MK 2004.
'The whole weekend was an inspiration for me. It was an honour, as well as
being educational, to be taught by a drummer of such calibre and class!'

'Thanks for organising the weekend. I enjoyed it tremendously and loved the
spirit in the room and that Mamady himself exuded into it. He made me think
more deeply about the djembe and the importance of respecting and sharing
tradition in an appropriate manner, also about the joy inherent in upholding
and sharing tradition.'

'Mamady was such a good teacher, patient, amusing and enthusiastic. His
playing was so clean it was an inspiration to keep practising and a pleasure
to watch him.'

Booking for this year's Mamady Ke´ta Workshop Weekend will open next week on
Monday 11th April. Last year, workshop places sold out very quickly,
especially for the intermediate and advanced sessions. If you would like to
receive an information sheet and booking form, please email
office@sewa-education.org .

Best wishes,

Emily Keeler
