Hi there! If you're in Bagshot, would Farnham be a reasonable distance for you to travel? I give small group drumcircles. And even some latin percussion to boot if enough people want it.

Best

*DORIS** **EXMOOR** DRUMMING WEEKEND – 27TH -29TH MAY

*DORIS** **EXMOOR** DRUMMING WEEKEND – 27^TH -29^TH MAY*

(from 6pm on the Friday until 6pm Sunday)

Venue: Pinkery Centre, Exmoor National Park, Somerset

Set in the heart of the moor there are no neighbours within hearing distance! Pinkery is a residential education centre for learning about Exmoor and as such is well equipped, basic but comfortable, and an exceptional environment to stay in.

Tutor: BiDo Irie from Ivory Coast with Doun-doun support.

BiDo has been teaching in Africa & Europe for 27 years. He was a main teacher at the College of Cultural Exchange in Ivory coast and has set up a performance dance troupe in Germany. He is a colleague of the first African group ever to come to Doris in our second year when “Kaago “, found us and it`s how we came to know Henri Gaubi and Marcel K. He has recently arrived in Bristol and we believe that he has the knowledge and experience to give all players a unique opportunity to learn and gain insight in to some new rhythms at an advanced level. BiDo Is a virtuoso player and records his own music playing all parts as well as singing many parts. Due to a knee injury he no longer dances professionally but has the dancers` understanding of rhythm.

There will be some opportunity to have one to one input during the weekend and of course the chance to drum all night on Saturday night with fire ! mmmmmmm!

Cost: £130 inclusive of accommodation & food. Limited places available.

Delicious Ghanaian & English food includes Friday night supper, Saturday

breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch and tea, coffee etc over the

weekend. Please let us know if you are vegetarian or have special dietary

requirements when you book.

Accommodation is in shared rooms 4 berth each, some disabled access bring your own bedding.

You will need to arrive by car as the Centre is up on Exmoor with no public

transport. If you have a spare place in your car and would be happy to bring

another drummer with you, please let us know when booking so we can put you

together with someone who may need a lift. Directions will be sent out when

you have booked
