Hi, I'm moving away from Sussex and Kent area and wondered if there was a good djembe teacher in West Kent area who could take over my two active drum workshop groups. One is in Hadlow, the other is in Westerham. please email me asap. Thx, Peter - thedrumcoach

Hi there! If you're in Bagshot, would Farnham be a reasonable distance for you to travel? I give small group drumcircles. And even some latin percussion to boot if enough people want it.

After having drummed in the beautiful Spanish Hills with my bro, I returned and bought myself a djembe drum! I am in Bagshot, Surrey and would love to jam and learn with others in the local area! Anyone interested and local to me then please do get in touch!

Niger Famine Relief & Make Poverty History Campaign

Dear All

I have began an appeal to raise money for Africa.

1) giving money to help the starving people of Niger

2) giving money to Make Poverty History

3) giving 'Fair Trade' money to Alla Leake & Local Gambian community......

I will set up a separate web page to show results of this campaign, monies raised and where the money has gone.

I am ONLY LOOKING FOR YOUR SUPPORT....please either spread the word or give me any further ideas to maximise the money we can raise:-

We are selling djembe from Alla Leake Kunda at 150.00 for a full size(medium normal 600h x 300mmDia) bush mango djembe.

From this money;

50 will go to Alla Leake Kunda for drum construction and materials
50 will go to Niger for FAMINE RELIEF
20 will cover the postage of the drum TO YOUR ADDRESS

130 straight back to Africa!

All drums made at Alla Leake Kunda are 'top quality' and made by and under the guidance of Tomas Kamara, SuSu Master drummer and musician.
All shells are hand picked by Tomas and when construction is complete, generally there are few 'Carobs' (tuning knots) and the drum will 'sing' with good tones, slap and bass notes. If you are really not happy with the drum you receive, you can come and exchange for one of my stock in UK!

thanks for at least reading this message........

Yours sincerely

Graeme Goodwin
